Well it has finally arrived. I am on my way to Cape Town today to open my Magnus Opus in Stellenbosch. South Africa's most beautiful and luxurious kitchen shop opens at the Asara Hotel in Stellenbosch on August 1 in partnership with the ebullient Markus Rahmann owner of Asara, and I am on my way to put the final touches. This exiting project has consumed 6 months of ALL my free time, but what an amazine thing it is. Dear friends and readers please drop in at High End Kitchens at Asara if you are ever in need of anything for your kitchen down in the Cape. We have put together quite frankly the most astonishingly beautiful shop in South Africa - imagine a high end kitchen shop with gorgeous crystal chandeliers and a high vaulted ceiling built into a converted red wine maturation cellar. We have the most unbelievable fully functional Miele kitchen which will be the launch site of the all NEW Miele series 5000 appliances in SA and where cooking demonstrations and TV shows will be shot. I am so nervous and my tum is full of butterflies. The launch party is going to be an absolute who's who with food from the 5 star Asara Hotel kitchens and beautiful music. I can't wait!!!
